The all-natural tobacco inside of the Backwood comes from the Dominican Republic, and the genuine all-natural Connecticut broadleaf wrapper is aged for 12 months, which allows for the natural sweetness to emerge to its surface before the addition of any flavors.
Their unique structure and look, wild and mild as it was called, with a frayed end, tapered body and unfinished head, had great appeal. Smokers identified the cigar’s image with the cowboy smoke from America’s wild west.
